Tomorrow's routes, done in minutes.
Drop in the job sheet you already keep. SwapDay builds every truck's day around swaps, dump runs, landfill rates and rush-hour traffic, then hands you route sheets ready to print.
No new habits. We set it up from one call, and you see the savings on your own past days before you switch.
Illustrative example · invented jobs, map, rates and costs
Route software was built for static routes that never change.
Most routing tools assume the same stops every week. Yours change every night, and every job depends on the one before it.
The stops are new every day
Deliveries, swaps and final pickups come in by phone all afternoon. Tomorrow's map isn't known until tonight.
One can per truck makes every job a chain
A swap means dropping an empty, pulling the full one, dumping it and coming back. The order matters more than the miles.
The dump run decides the day
Which landfill, at what rate, open until when, and how bad the interstate is at 5 PM. That's the part a generic optimizer gets wrong.
Three steps, every evening. Five minutes, not two hours.
Drop in tonight's sheet
Upload the spreadsheet you already make, paste it, or add jobs one line at a time, like "30 S 22 Maple Ridge Ct". We read it as it is.
Fix the few that need a look
Only unclear addresses are shown, one at a time. Fix one once and SwapDay remembers it for every future job at that site.
Get finished routes
One column per truck, with its driver, stops in order and every dump run on its own line. Print one page per truck, or move a stop and the rest re-plans itself.
Change a driver or move a stop. See what it costs before you keep it.
The example at the top, broken down per truck: jobs, miles, when each truck gets back to the yard and what its day costs. It updates with every step.

Everything your best dispatcher keeps in their head.
Swaps and job chains
Every job type in your own codes, with the right can on the truck at the right time.
Landfills and their rates
Per-ton and flat rates by material, minimums and closing times all go into which dump each load goes to.
Traffic that knows the clock
Drive times change by the hour. Tell us the roads your drivers avoid at rush hour and the plan stays off them.
Home areas and drivers
Trucks keep the towns they know. Out sick? Tap the driver's name, pick who's covering, and the day re-plans.
No "obvious no-no" routes
Every plan is checked before anyone sees it: no zig-zags across the metro, no two trucks to the same site, no out-and-back detours.
Every choice explained
Each move gets a plain reason, like "moved to truck 104: same landfill, saves 22 min." You can always override, and Undo is one tap.
Built for businesses that drop something off and come back for it.
Roll-off is where we started. The same engine handles any fleet whose stops change daily and whose loads have to go somewhere.

Send us a few weeks of the route sheets you already made. We plan those same days with SwapDay and compare them with yours, using the same traffic and the same costs.
- You change nothing while we run the comparison.
- Every figure comes from your own trucks, rates and landfills.
- We show which drive times are exact and which are estimated.

What haulers ask us first
Do we have to change how we take orders?
No. Keep taking calls the way you do now and keep your job sheet. SwapDay reads the sheet as it is. Over time you can add jobs straight into SwapDay, but you never have to.
Our sheet is a mess. Will it still work?
Most likely. We read the columns you already use, your job codes and your site types. Anything unclear gets flagged in yellow for you to fix once, and it's remembered after that.
Do drivers need to download an app?
No. Today drivers get printed route sheets, one page per truck. Driver links are coming next and will arrive by text message, with nothing to install.
What if I don't like a route?
Drag the stop to another truck or another spot in the order and the rest of the day re-plans in seconds. Every change can be undone with one tap.
Who owns our customer data?
You do. Your jobs, customers and history stay yours, are kept private to your company and are backed up every night.
